Oh Deer

So, living where we do it is common to see the occasional deer in our yard, or tracks everywhere (although I don't know what is really exciting about our porch). Anyway, today we had a visit from a herd. I'm hoping this means warm weather is on the way.

Awesomeness

So I thought I would say a word about how great Jared is. He passed his defense this week, which means he will graduate this semester, and I thought I would show off how cute he is by sharing some random pictures of our vacation last year.

So, here is an update as to what I've been doing/thinking lately.
1. Name: I put a poll on the side for all to vote on the current names that we are thinking of naming our baby girl, Not that we will listen to the results, but maybe it'll narrow things down. We have been calling her one of these names a week to see if we like it, which is better than alien baby, which is what we called her before.
2. School: Even though I am 24 and have been going to college for 5 years now it still makes my day to have a teacher tell me that I did a good job on something. My ASL teacher liked my classifiers usage and I made her laugh. :)
3. Tums: I have decided that the new fruity flavored tums we got taste great, mmmm..., I'm told we'll have a hairy baby, okay.
4. Hiccups: Anyone who has spent some time around Jared may have noticed his random hiccups, I think it is hilarious, well our baby had the hiccups earlier this week, there you go it is your child after all.
5. Dishes: Is it really easier to do them every day after you dirty them, or can one wash what is needed then add them to the pile after use?

Music and Dinner

So, I put this cool music player thingy with songs that we like, don't worry it doesn't play automatically if you don't share our random sorts of songs you don't have to listen. The song "You're So True" is where the title was borrowed from.
Dinner: Okay, I am not a great cook. I am ok after I have made something 4 or 5 times. Like the first time I made Lasagna. This incident is known by us as Lasagna Soup, it tasted alright but was easier to eat with a spoon out of a bowl, instead of on a plate like I intended. Don't worry now I can create an edible Lasagna. Anyway, Jared saw some meal on Man vs. Food that he had been telling me about for days. "It looked so good". After hearing about it for a few days we decided to try it. Guess What, It turned out really good, First try and I made an edible meal. Just had to share my accomplishment.

Reasonings

So the following pictures I think are a good indicator of why I haven't started blog sooner. These are all the pictures I took from August - January.They are pictures of the k'nex Foosball table that we are making. Yup, that is it. Christmas... New Years... Birthdays... Nieces... Nephews... well let's hope I get in more practice.

Vacation May 2009

Okay, I know this is late but I have all these pictures and have to share them, and hey I am still figuring out this blogging thing.


So, it took us a while to figure out how to take pictures of ourselves, this is my first attempt. Oh yeah we are by the arc d' Triumph.


This is Jared's first attempt, needless to say I took most of them after a few of these. This is us by the Louvre.

Sometimes it is better to have awkwardly close pictures rather than have someone else take them because you end up with..
Spikes coming out of your head,
your eyes closed,
or even the person taking the picture getting run over.

Anyway, our vacation to France was awesome, we got to see where Jared used to live, and inhale vast amounts of smoke. Stay tuned to see more pictures of the cool things we saw.
