Out of Reach

Just thought I'd show what cuteness has happened thus far this week.  I was rearranging things in our entertainment center so someone (Evie) couldn't stick her hand in the vcr (don't know what this is? google it) or pull down other systems.  However, now I have this empty space that is very accessible to this someone.  I was wondering what to put on it.  I can't have an empty shelf.. there are just so many things that need to be put somewhere.  I was pondering what to fill this gap when the answer hit me... literally.

Dear Jared,

Today Evie was playing on the floor, I looked over at her and saw this.

 

 I then said "Hey, Evie what are you doing? You are way to small and young to be doing that".  To which she turns around and gives me this.

Yes, a big ol' smile.

So, the new trick is this. It is kind of nice knowing that when she wants to be held she will just scoot over to me. Although she also has already figured out several drawers and her bookshelf. 

I guess it is time to baby proof the place

Cuteness, Pumpkins, and Teeth

 So, I know I should update more often and do individual post instead of long ones with no theme, oh well.  Here is daddy and Evie chilln' on the couch.

September 23

So here is what we have been up to. 

               

          First of all, Grandma M. came to visit, and we all went to a baby blessing, of course we had to dress up so here is Evie in a dress that was made for her cousin for our wedding, cool huh.

      

             This is Evie getting tired, this is the preferred way of showing she is tired (the other way is crying).

    We got a chair for her so she can sit up with us like a big person, she loves it. 

        We were thinking that maybe she would like to eat like a big person too, we have since decided that maybe we will wait another week or so. 

   But, I guess she did have fun getting food all over everything she could reach.

Here she is helping me wash clothes, I couldn't carry the basked and her, and I didn't want to make

two trips, So, this is what I do.

  

And, lastly, here she is discovering her new favorite toy, her feet.
